10th Light Horse Bridle Trail

The 10th Light Horse Bridle Trail was first opened on October 15th, 1989 in honour of the 10th Australian Light Horse Regiment AIF – the only AIF light horse regiment recruited in Western Australia during the First World War. The trail stretches for over 45.5 kilometres starting in Lake Clifton on the west side of the Harvey River Bridge, on Lake Clifton Road and ends at the junction of Runnymede and Wellesley roads in the Binningup area.

It has a mainly flat limestone surface with large sandy firebreaks and no significant hills. It should take two days at a leisurely pace on horseback.
